Developmental changes at 28/29 months
Did anyone else notice massive changes around this age?
- Speech has significantly increased
- Singing songs a lot and knows all the words to lots of songs
- wants to be in control of everything a lot more and basically ‘do what he wants’ 😮💨😅/becoming more head strong and independent
- resisting sleep more and nap strikes
- meltdowns/ tantrums more often
- extreme clinginess to me (mum)
- night terrors/confusional arousal
I am currently pregnant too so I’m wondering if without properly knowing it, he knows/senses it

I’d say those are common around that age yeh!
My daughter is 2.5yo and her speech comes on daily, loves singing, loves having choice and feeling she’s in control (I usually give options that always work for me but give them to her to make her feel she’s making the decision), sleep is the same for us as usually as we cosleep/bedshare so always been fine.
Im also pregnant but her understanding and care for the pregnancy makes me so happy 😃

We cosleep too but he’s been having some night terrors/confusional arousal episodes and is also fighting naps more often. We’ve had 2 no nap days in the past week so far and it’s all new to us as he has napped every day since birth 😅
the night waking is more on no nap days 🙈 not sure if coincidental or not or if he’s getting a bit too overtired as he adjusts to no nap like he’s used to
yeah deffo I agree! We are giving him a chance to nap and if it’s becoming too long for him to nap then scrapping it!

Anyone else feel like as soon as their baby turned 8m old they are acting like a completely different baby? She's become noticeably more difficult as far as behavior.

Help!!!!
Someone please help me with some advice because I’m losing my absolute mind 😭
Baby is 5 months old, she has changed a lot in personality over the last month, more needy, sleep changes etc but have put it down to the 4 month regression and teething.
However, the problem that makes me want to literally cry is the car seat! She is totally inconsolable now every time she’s in the car. Why? And what can I do to help it?!

PP things I hate
Everything is stress induced anymore
My daughter has this ongoing diarrhea for 2 weeks now and I’ve gotten no sleep from it, I now have a canker sore from it, my acid reflux has more flare ups than ever. I don’t like having sex anymore (I love my partner and I still find him very attractive). Im way too overly touched (by the baby, by the dog and by him). Im 10m pp and I haven’t been able to wear a dang tampon! I don’t do pads because they are just not for me so I wear a diaper.
Please tell me if you relate to any of this at all? Or if I’m just crazy

Edit: this is what I caught in the shower and does not include anything that went down the plug, anything that stayed on my comb, anything still attached to my body when I got out or anything that was still in the bath when I was done ✌️.
