I need advice so bad please someone with some legal knowledge or if you’ve been through it help me out. My kids live with me full time, I pay there daycare by myself. $420 a week. The dad refuses to pay it. Therefore I have stopped communicating with him & he keeps threatening me saying he’s going to court to file for full custody. He has no proof of me being a bad parent or anything. I’m still worried tho. I’m in GA, Cobb county to be exact. Since last Saturday I have cut communication & he makes fake numbers or calls my work phone to say he wants to see his kids. A lot of these calls are at 3am or 10pm while my kids are asleep. He clearly has strange intentions. What can I do ? Help me please. I’m so stressed out I feel like I’m gonna die from a heart attack & shaking from being nervous.

Also he does not help with the kids basic necessities or day to day lives. I buy everything & I do everything like bathing them & making sure they’re well taken care of. He doesn’t do any of it. He watched them last Saturday & when I went to pick them up from his mom’s house he started making a scene because of how I arrived in such a short notice.

Block him change your number and take him to court for child support and let them handle visitations. Tell them that your stressed out and what your telling us but they should help you out if you need help I have a uncle too who’s a attorney in ga too hope everything goes well

Also, he has a 13 year old child who he has lost full custody of since the child was small. The mom of that child is dead & he hasn’t even tried to get his son. That would help my case right ?

Let the court handle it.. download a parenting app which will be supervised by the court and change ur personal number.

Child support and parenting time are separate issues. If the father has court-ordered visitation, you cannot refuse those visits simply because he isn’t financially supporting the children. You can seek to establish or enforce child support through the proper legal process.
Repeatedly refusing parenting time without a valid reason can hurt your position in a custody case, especially if he has documented his requests and your refusals. The court decides what serves the children’s best interests. If there are safety concerns, those should be brought before the court so appropriate protections can be put in place.
