Where to have a baby
Hi! I’m currently scheduled to give birth at Saint Michael’s hospital in Toronto although I’m getting shit from the psychiatric dept there because of a mental crisis in 2024 when I hospitalized myself after witnessing a suicide… I don’t need a diagnosis for having a mental breakdown from someone else’s crisis 🤷♀️😖.
My husband is up north. He’s very stubborn and does not want to come downtown Toronto. He literally skipped his last flight to come visit so I can’t depend on him coming down here for the birth?
I can’t imagine doing this alone, should I just go up to northern AB/NWT to give birth in February ? Should I have the baby in Toronto or up north?

Honestly, the hospitals downtown are the best. I know it might be quite difficult living up north. Sorry your being judged from your past.
