Do belly bands actually help back pain?
When should I start wearing it?
I’m already 32 weeks, and the back pain is not it… What else can I do?

I used one the hospital gave me after going to physio for my back pain, I started wearing it around 28 weeks, I only wore it for work tho as I didn’t do much standing/walking other than while at work and after leaving work at 34 weeks (due to the back pain and exhaustion) I would wear it for my walks

I’ve been wearing mine when needed for about 5 weeks (I’m 31 weeks). It has saved me some days when the pain is bad. I just find it shifts the weight enough to relieve some of the pressure. I also do a lot of stretching with a yoga ball and that helps sometimes too. I know it’s a hot topic, but I do take short warmer baths if it’s really bad just to loosen up the muscles, sometime epsom salt too, and that can help. I hope you find some relief!

I’ve not used one but update us if you try it and it works! I’m early into my second pregnancy, but had horrible back pain towards the end with my first

I’ve had a belly band for back pain I’ve had since early in my first trimester at about 7 weeks. I’m 31 weeks now. My pain was originating in the SI joints and pubic bone so I have a band for that and it helps to stabilize everything. Felt like that one really helps.
Also have the Momcozy band when the pain feels more like it’s coming from belly weight. Helped somewhat but not as big an issue for me.

I’ve been wearing mine since about 16 weeks and wear it literally daily and cannot stand the days I don’t.

Gurl ive been wearing one since 2nd trimester. I only use it when im out and about
Hey guys, I’m due on the 20th and have seen lots of people say they don’t want inductions, sweeps etc, is there any reason for this? I’d love to know different opinions as I’m so open to anything, thank you 🫶🏻

I went into triage today after having reduced movements after my sweep yesterday. They have offered for me to be induced tomorrow morning. They said my waters are bulging and that i am already 4cm dilated. But not in active labour.
They said they were gonna break my waters and try the balloon. I had a previous c section before and was really hoping for a VBAC this time: does anyone have any words of wisdom? Am i making the right choice in being induced?

Had my 20 week Scan today. They couldn’t get a proper view of baby’s heart so asked us to return next week, everything else looked fine. And I also have a low lying placenta. Anyone else have this?

I’ve had one emergency c section and I was under a general anaesthetic so I don’t really know what it’s like. I also didn’t really have any issues with recovery other than lots of bleeding for way too long. I’m planning to have another one with next baby but I don’t really know what I’m in for. Can you tell me all your experiences, how did it go, good and bad! I want to have my eyes open!

37 weeks pregnant and still waiting for my date. Seems very common not to get the date until the week before the actual op but I’m getting fed up not knowing😩 Anyone else feel the same!?😬

Last night around 11:30 PM, (after trying to go to sleep since 10, but was to uncomfortable) I started having some pretty intense contractions. I wasn’t timing them at first, but once they got bad enough to start tracking, they were about 1 minute long and roughly 4 minutes apart. They continued getting more intense and were honestly unbearable for a while.
We went to the hospital and were put on a monitor. they tried to check my cervix, but unfortunately they couldn’t reach it(the nurse had the shortest fingers you could possibly imagine and in my prior pregnancy they also struggled to reach my cervix even at 39 weeks!!), so we don’t know if there has been any cervical change. They gave me an IV saline drip(I was not and have not been dehydrated I’ve been drinking atleast 90floz of water a day), and after that the contractions started to calm down. By around 4 AM, they were about 10 minutes apart and much more bearable.
This morning I had a few random contractions, but nothing consistent or nearly as intense and they seemed to have gone away now.
Completely freaked out 🥴
