I am a little nervous, my baby woke up with morning with sniffles sounds like he had mucous or something bothering him I can hear it when he breathes through his nose. He is 6 weeks today. I’m a first time mama, I just don’t want him sick. But that’s all that’s happening right now. Is it normal for babies this young to have this issue, sorry if it’s stupid question. If he does it a cold what can I do to help him, I hear saline spray, what works best for your baby? Any tips and tricks for anything? Advice

Saline mist and nasal aspirator, humidifier. Baby Vic’s,

Make sure to keep him hydrated. Only breast milk ofc will help him fight if he has an infection and keeps a cold mist humidifier. Try to give warm bath help to lose mucus, and yes, it's absolutely normal because they can actually teeth too around this time, but of course, the weather could do it too. I am a first-time mama, and I have 0 fam near me, so I learned it hard way but heyy nothing to worry about at all. Feel free to dm me if you are concerned about anything. Oh, also monitor temperature and rub some baby Vicks on the chest and feet they say don't, but it really helps a lot. Don't google. Everything literally scares the hell out of you everything lol
