Would it be a good idea to bring her to the airport to say goodbye?

My 22-month-old is very close to my parents, who have lived with us since before she was born. They’re leaving for a few months soon, so this will be a big change for her.

Would it be a good idea to bring her to the airport to say goodbye? We’d get there around 10 PM, but she’s usually still awake at that time. Would the airport goodbye help her understand they’re leaving, or make it harder?

Also, is there anything I should do beforehand to prepare her for them being gone?

We did say good bye to grandma and grandpa but our 21m old didn’t even flinch! I don’t think they yet understand goodbye if it’s at a place they don’t know (like the airport) it’s more difficult for them if you leave the house/front door
