Anxiety is hiiiigh

I’m 32 weeks first time mom and all I can do is think about how it will be after I have my baby. It’s surreal because i never thought I would have a baby….now I’m close to the finish line and can’t stop thinking about every little thing. Plus I’m nervous about labor. I don’t sleep that much at night because I’m up thinking too much. Help 😑😭

I remember these sleepless nights well (mom of 2 here) it’s so hard because you’re tired and wired.
Everyone told me and I didn’t believe them but these last few sleepless weeks are prepping you to be up with baby for feeds.
Wishing you a smooth labor and postpartum. You get to meet your sweet baby in a few weeks-wahoo!!

That is totally normal especially with your first baby. There is a book called Birth Vibes by Jen Hamilton that is super informative about the labor experience. I read it before my 2nd baby but I really wish I would have read it before my first.
Women are extremely resilient and we can get through anything, so try and remember you don't have to have all the answers right now. You will learn as you go. This app is a great resource if you have any questions along the way

Honestly I think its hormonal. I get waves of anxiety then it eases up. I listen yo hypnobirthing tracks at night t9 relax

The last few weeks help you to know what the earth side schedule will be, it’s pretty interesting. I didn’t pay attention to it with my 1st but I did with my 2nd and it was spot on.
I’m sorry about the anxiety, those last few weeks were hard too. I hope you’re able to surround yourself with positive birth stories and all the pampering/relaxation you can manage!

It's normal. I was also 32 when I had my first baby. Try to think positively. Meditate on that day. Imagine how's it going to be, how you will feel having your baby in your arms. Think about a smooth labor. 🙌🙏💜

Body embarrassment 😭

I am super conscious and embarrassed by my belly shape.

I'm 33+2 weeks with twins, and I'm fine with my actual bump which is the high bit, and actually considered small for twins, but I have the biggest 'pouch' or 'overhang' belly underneath.

For context, I was a size 8 before pregnancy, but have previously been upto an 18-20 at my worst, so my body is a massive insecurity for me. My legs and bum are also ugly to me. All I can think about is how im missing out not having a maternity shoot, and how the hell I'm going to loose it afterwards.

Having Anxiety

I found out a few days ago that I’m pregnant. I’m ecstatic about it and excited to finally be on this journey. My husband and I have been trying for 2 years. Now that it’s happening, I keep feeling anxious that it’s not actually happening…you know? Like the 3 tests I’ve taken and were all positive were all fake positives or something. Has anyone else felt like that? I’m 4 1/2 weeks right now and I know it’s very early. I guess I’m just anxious that I’m imaging it all.

Ugh 🙄

So my birthday is tomorrow. We already booked an Airbnb for two nights. I planned to go get some toys and have amazing sex. But now my period is on and ladies I'm so angry right now!!! My period comes on when it wants to and I was hoping it waited until after. I just needed to vent, I mean its not the end of the world but still. This shit sucks 😒💔💔💔

Breech at 35 weeks?

Hi ladies, hope you're okay x we've found at our midwife appointment that baby is breech. I just want to ask mums over 35 weeks whether your babies turned on their own at all? My midwife isn't too concerned, she believes baby has time to turn but I just want to know how people's experiences were with their own babies. Thank you x

how to stay sane and not overthink everything

how are we all dealing with not freaking out over everything and being constantly anxious?

i just had the ittiest bittiest discharge that was like faintly light pink, and i mean more light peach if anything, and it wasn’t runny or spotting and i haven’t had any cramping or otherwise. but im so freaked out? thankfully i have a scan on monday, but with how much is online it’s hard to not panic and catastrophize.

would love love love any tips ❤️
