Maternity Pay from Government
Hey Ladies,
Need some advice, so i got a text this morning saying DWP will give me a decision in 4 weeks but i was hoping to take Mat leave in 3 weeks from work. Did anyone have to wait the full month or got a decision before then????

I waited the 4 weeks, heard nothing, so called them a week or so ago and they were like yeah it's fine it's all approved. So I have no idea when it actually got sorted! But it was within the 4 weeks x
I got my first pay within 3 weeks of posting the form
I got a call in 2 weeks to confirm it was going ahead on my preferred star date
