reduced movement

did anyone else’s baby move less towards due date but everything was fine? I’m due tomorrow and today my baby hasn’t moved as much as usual. he is still doing slight movements tho. I have a midwife appointment tomorrow. just unsure if I should ring up triage now or not? I was hoping my next trip to the hospital would be the last one, to have him.

I would call triage if you’re worried about it. Always good to be safe!

Please call you're never wasting their time 😊

Always call if movements have changed. Don't wait until the next day/morning

Yes!
My little girl was such a wriggler! For context my due date was 30th September but I started having contractions on the 28th and on my due date I had a sweep. Contractions were still happening but slowed down through the night and then from 4am on 1st October I could not get her to move. Honestly I freaked out, it was definitely not normal for her to be silent so I went to triage.

She was absolutely fine and gave birth to her naturally on the morning of 2nd October!
I had something similar with my first born too but not quite to that extent. Google and midwives say movements and frequency shouldn't change and I'd always say absolutely get yourself to triage because you'd rather be safe than sorry but every single person I've spoken to, including siblings/friends/in laws they've all said their movements changed or slowed down as they got closer to labour.

I wish I'd had some of that context so I didn't worry as much as I did but I still would have got myself to triage as a matter of urgency
