Hiya! For me it took about two months to really notice a difference. Im on 50mg and I think some of the effects might be down to the placebo effect/ simply the fact that I’m more aware of my mental health and actively trying to look after it. But regardless of whats causing it I genuinely feel like life has become a little less heavy and I find myself feeling happier

Hi Katie. I was offered Sertraline and I got worried about the withdrawal symptoms on the baby. When did you start taking it during pregnancy? My anxieties and depression are pretty bad.

Titration period was about two weeks for me with strong side effects

Alanine Aminotransferase (ALT)

After BP checks came back higher than normal, I was sent to maternity triage for further checks. My bloods came back fine except ALT which was at 35. Normal range is 0-34.

Has anyone had experience of this and what does it mean?

I have two further BP appointments booked for Saturday and next Monday. I’ll be 29 weeks tomorrow.

Limited help from village

Any mamas here who have very little help from their village and have one or more children? How do you cope?

My family lives abroad and they are so willing to help, but unfortunately due to the distance and time apart, they can't help us much and can only do so when they visit us or if we go and visit them. My in laws live about 40 mins drive but even when we meet, they don't really help and it's more like social visits. I wished it was swapped around that my parents were the ones who were closer to us so they could help us time and time again. We thought of having a second one before, but I really don't know how we can cope given the very limited support we have currently.

Feeling all the feels

Oct 19th would have been the due date for the baby I miscarried at the beginning of the year. Also currently in the 2 week wait of this TTC cycle. Feeling sad, angry and overwhelmed. There would be something so beautiful about getting a positive this month but I can’t help but feel guilty and scared. Trying to remain positive and focus on our son but the background noise is relentless
