Early labour or BH?

I had this happening a few times in the weeks before birth. I think it’s called false labour. The last episode I had lasted an entire evening and it was really intense and regular so I was so sure I was in labour but after a few hours it just stopped completely during the night, only had some random contractions afterwards but not painful.

I’m having the same tonight. Only thing that’s helping is lying on my left side with belly supported.

I have had this. My midwife said it sounds like Braxton hicks picking up and that as soon as the cramps move up the tummy, it’s early labour and to start timing them xx

I've had this for the last 2 weeks, not every day but usually every 2-3 days, sometimes it lasts for hours & hours and they're often very regular. It hasn't amounted to anything yet so still waiting, I had 5 weeks of prodromal labour with my second 🙃
