Induction
So I’m being induced one the 19th of November, I’ll be 39 weeks exactly and I just wanted to hear what others have experienced with being induced. I’m being induced for a raised bmi as per request by my midwife. Just would like to know others experience since this is my first baby.

As per request by your midwife? Do YOU want an induction?
I’m confused, I have a raised BMI but no other risk factors and they’ve never mentioned anything about an induction to me and have been pushing a natural birth. If you don’t mind me asking, do you have to have one?
I was induced with my 1st baby. At the time i thought it was the right thing to do. However all i can say is listen to your instincts mama- do what’s best for you. If I could go back in time & changed things i would.
Remember induction is a choice & shouldn’t be forced!

My best friend has a raised BMI and has given birth to 2 boys vaginally with no complications....
Make sure you do lots of research and only say yes if you want too!! Xx

I had my anatomy scan today and found out I’m having a boy 🩵 would have been over the moon either way but I’ve been convinced for the past 2 months that it was a boy so it feels good to be right haha 🥹 anterior placenta so still not feeling many movements at this stage but he is ACTIVE! Wouldn’t stop moving and kicking at the scan 😅

Breech position
Hey everyone!
Had my 36 week scan today and found out baby is in breech position :( after some discussion, me and my husband decided to go for a planned c section. Anyone going through the same? X

Middle Name Inspiration
I have to register my baby in two weeks, but still haven’t decided on the middle name. Does anyone have any suggestions? I was thinking of giving her something of a biblical meaning. But I’m open to other types of names too (just something with a nice meaning) x

Early labour or BH?
FTM 39 weeks + 2. Last night I had waves of tightening across my belly with mild period and lower back pain. Lasted a couple of hours and came sporadicly but stopped around 4 am and not happened since. Could this be early labour or just BH? I know early labour can stop and start. Had lots of BH last few days but not with any pain. Also not noticed loss of my mucus plug but baby is low and engaged.

Induced
I’m currently 40 weeks +3 days. I’m supposed to be getting an induction sweep tomorrow but I really feel like this is too early?! I understand that this isn’t compulsory but I was wondering if anyone has refused to be induced. If so, how far into your pregnancy were you?
