I'm currently 33 weeks pregnant and I wanted to get a hospital bag ready so I don't need to think about it later on, however I'm unsure what I should put in there or what I would need ðŸ˜
I honestly have no clue what I would need

You need so much less than what you see online. You could honestly just show up with nothing and be fine, but there were a few things I was glad I brought for convenience/comfort.
Pillow and towel from home (hospital ones are small and not great)
Bathrobe
Shower shoes
Change of clothes for you and outfit to take baby home in
Water bottle
Electrolytes
Honey (if you aren’t permitted to eat during labor - gave me some energy)
Phone charger
Any toiletries you would like to have your own of (I brought toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush, and contacts/glasses)
I’m in the US so what the hospital provides could be different, but from what I gather, the internet will make you think you need so many things, when you truly do not

There is an nhs list which is a good start. Will need to take pads/pants for you and nappies etc for the baby too. Snacks and drinks for energy

Suggest a portable fan as well because when in active labor you get really hot

Pillows You will thank yourself later.
Hospital pillows are small and terrible

A robe was a gamechanger for me!!!
just maternity undies, pj's pants, slippers, no top and a robe lol. Be prepared not to sleep in the hospital. Maybe a white noise machine and eye mask for you.
****I wish I would have known I could have tried to start pumping before baby was born to get some milk or cholostrom going!!
I wish somone would have told me this because it took me two days for my milk to come in and had to use donor milk , which was thankfully at the hospital. That would have saved me a lot of stress
Clothes for baby's drive home x3.
Snacks for dad
Ask about getting a first footprint of the baby! Apparently they used to do that , but my hospital didn't
In my notes for my 16 week appointment It says to attend alone, however I want my husband to hear the baby’s heartbeat if they offer, did anyone else attend with partners and find it was okay? Thanks x

Has anyone else experienced this?
Im honestly at my wits end with it , im almost 6 months post emergency (GA) c section & I have had right sided ovary pain ever since. It’s especially worse around ovulation / period but it is constant.
I’ve been back & forth with the dr for months fighting for tests etc for them to tell me it’s normal to have pain after c section and to give if a few weeks. I’ve given it nearly 6 months and everytime I try and get help im brushed off.
My periods are now so painful & heavy I cannot leave the house , but every time it is always the right side that’s hurting.
The pain starts on the right edge of my scar and goes down to my ovary , has anyone experienced this or has any idea what it is that’s causing it? I’m having no luck with the NHS

I’m 38 weeks plus 4 days pregnant today. This morning I felt a bit more discharge than normal (sort of went down my legs) but I couldn’t see anything in my underwear. Has anyone else experienced this or is it my mucus plug?

Had the rods inserted at 8:30pm last night, did nothing, so now having balloon inserted. Does anyone know that if that doesn’t work I can refuse to continue induction process and go home?
I’m being induced due to baby’s small size but I’m currently only 39+1!
