Bottle washers

Should I invest in a bottle washer? We do not have a dishwasher. I am looking between the Mum cozy and the baby breeza (I’m from Australia, options are limited) thoughts?

Ehhh if you have the money or room to put it. But I think just getting a bucket to wash the bottles I’m and use soap and a bottle brush is also totally fine and way cheaper

IMO we can't live without ours! We ended up going with the Momcozy one (not the newly released version) and love it, no issues at all. We have 8 total bottles in the house and usually grab a new bottle each feed so our process is once we've accumulated 4 used bottles, load/run the washer and it's like clockwork now each day🙂 10/10 would recommend!

I wish I had one when I was pumping at any point. I spent way more time than I wanted to standing at the sink, and my hands paid for it too, because I hadn't yet invested in rubber kitchen gloves.

Have pampers changed

I had a nappy raffle at my baby shower and have loads of nappy’s but the ones on the left are what I’ve found best and I am running low on them. They are elastic around the front and back unlike the ones on the left I’ve opened 3 more packs of pampers and they are all like the ones on the right. Have they changed or are they a specific style/name

Hospital bag

Hey ladies. Planning to bottle feed my bubba. Do hospitals have sterilising equipment or should I pack multiple bottles already sterilised? Thank you 🩵

Trouble breastfeeding

I’ve been exclusively breastfeeding my little girl who’s now 4 and a half months old. During that time I’ve had mastitis twice. I’ve been prescribed antibiotics and strong painkillers. Every week there’s always a new lump in either one breast or both which causes me so much discomfort and pain. The area is sore, tender and very uncountable so breastfeeding can hurt. It also hurts to hold her close to my chest because of the lump. The other day I also had a blocked milk duct as there was a white dot on my nipple. I’ve seen the doctors and taken medicines but seems like there’s always a new lump appearing. The doctor mentioned to do hot and cold compresses as well which tbh doesn’t seem to help. I’m feeling quite down about it all and wonder if switching her to formula would be better for her and myself. Has anyone had anything like this happen to them? I would appreciate any advice or tips. Thank you!

Diapers

I have a 20m old and a 2 month old. Both boys. My 20m old is in size 5 daytime and overnight diapers. My 2m is in size 1. What are we all doing to help with peeing through? Both children pee through their diapers at night (my 2m gets changed during his 3am feeding). I make sure both are always pointed down. do I need to go up a size? I’m at a loss.

When does it get easier 😭

My little girl is almost 10 weeks, she’s not napping much throughout the day so I’m struggling to get anything done and majority of the time I don’t get ready till the afternoon and I feel like I’ve wasted my full day.

She’s not sleeping great on a night still and only takes 4oz max, she doesn’t go to sleep till 10.30/11 and then she is up between 2am and 4am, then she’s really unsettled when she goes back down. Then she’s awake again between 5am and 7am and then I have to let her go back to sleep on me and she will sleep till 8.30ish. I’m so physically and mentally drained 😭
