I always express at the wrong time!

Combi feeding (around 3 bottles per day) just mostly so that we can share nights and to give me freedom with our toddler etc. We give bottles of breast milk or formula or a combo depending on what I have. My supply has adapted well as I dont really get engorged anymore but I dont want to go a whole night without expressing even a little as Im scared to lose my supply. But anytime I do, its the wrong time! I just expressed at 05.10 and baby woke up at 05.20 to be fed! How are we managing this? I would have just waited!

My baby does the same when I pump! I’ve only just started so am only doing 3-5 mins each side and I’m not draining myself down completely (to help with engorgement) so if she wakes up, I then still have enough to feed her. Ideally I’m going to move to pumping in the morning once we can get her to take a bottle and give her a bottle
