Struggling with solids

Hi! Struggling with solids here. We started at 6 months and baby just Doesn’t show much interest. I’ve tried puréed, mashed, solid. She just refuses to open mouth and shakes head no. Once in a while she’ll eat some puree but it’ll be like a teaspoon total before she says no again. I’ve been very stressed about this. I try not to make it distressing for her so i just end the meal as soon as she starts refusing. Anyone experience something similar?

I'm no expert but what I do is load up a couple spoons and leave them on her tray while I eat whatever she is 'eating' right next to/in front of her- they follow our lead more than anything

Mine is 6 and half months and to be honest shes highly interested in my food. I try purees and it meh! for her. So whatever im eating i just chew it up and give to her. But honestly as long as you are still nursing baby will be just fine

So sorry to hear this 💔 I let my son explore his food (it gets really messy lol) then I eat with him, when he starts getting too distracted I start eating his food (make a show of it) then he'll re focus. I also have an assortment of foods (2 purees, 1 cottage cheese/yogurt) and switch it up when he starts to get bored of 1 food. She'll get it!
