Just an Experience

I understand we all have our religious beliefs or not and this may affect how some of us connect in friendship.

Well, I was having a rare moment of spontaneous social interactions and I thought if would lead to friendship. Halloween just ended and fall items are in full effect. So I was looking for some decorations and started talking about family and decorating with a spunky lady in Michael's. I guess me saying something about taking down my Halloween decorations earlier than I usually do caught her off guard cause she "rebuked" Halloween spirit immediately. (Major blow to my heart btw) But I let it pass and said (which I thought was obviously discontinuing the conversation with contempt cause I'm petty) "OH, well I love it still and every god and spirit with it" and was walking away but she kept going clearly missing my sparky smile and walked with me🤦🏿‍♀️ But told me we have to protect our souls from evil corruption and lots of stuff I don't follow. Not sure what she follows but I may be Abrahamic branching.

Anywhooo!! Do you think you can be friends is your faiths don't connect? Is it a deal breaker for you? I dont have a problem with any faith and I believe in All gods in their own right or as 1. I find I cant be friends with someone who doesn't let ppl have their faiths. I pray with my Christian friend is she blesses her food and I can agree, "Peace be Allah" to any whom seek(ha ha, thats actually 😁punny) I have a great relationship with an older Buddhist, and I'm sure I can be well with others. But I find ppl are reserved around me when I mention my being Omnist. This would, for me, include those some should deem evil. I wont deny anyone their god nor deny a power greater than be. I dont worship them all (impossible) but they arent denied by right.
