8 months post partum and have been trying to watch what I eat and work out. Done diets and intense work outs, but some how its lose 1 lb gain 2 and it's been this way for months. I'm getting so discouraged as all the tricks I used before pregnancy just are not working. I feel so self conscious that i dont even want to be intimate with my husband without a shirt or even when hes touching me I feel the need to always suck in (which doesnt help much as I have extra skin). Any and all advise as my self confidence is making my ppd even worse.

Are you breastfeeding? While many people told me the "weight will fall off" while you are breastfeeding, that simply hasnt been true for me at all. Through some research I have found that many women will hold onto 10lbs or so while breastfeeding and it will go quickly once you stop. I am not saying stop breastfeeding (I'm still EPing and plan to for at least a year!) But it makes me hopeful knowing that my body is holding onto weight for a good reason. I am in the same boat and ever since maternity leave have been hitting my workouts hard. Maybe too hard sometimes. But my weight is at a standstill. Lose 1lb, gain 2lbs. Lose 3lbs, gain 1lb. Its incredibly frustrating! I know I need to clean up my diet abd be more consistent with it. Consistency is key! If I am good all week and then order takeout twice next week as a "treat" my body rebels by gaining 5lbs.
Idk if any of that was helpful or not...probably not. But just know you're not alone! Stay consistent with what your plan :)

Gotcha! Idk about you but I'm having a hard time staying motivated being at home all the time. If you need someone to keep you accountable I can totally be that person for you!
