How big is a mucus plug?
Currently 39+6 (due date tomorrow!) and I have been losing my mucus plug since 2pm yesterday (about 21 hours now)
I’m just wondering how much I should expect... I’m getting massive globs (I’m sure there is a more attractive word for that haha). I’d say I’ve lost about 6 tablespoon of the stuff... if not more. More is coming away every time I check when I go to the loo, and quite a bit each time!

Mine just kept coming for 3 days
Sorry i cant help you as im having my first and still have ages. But ive heard it can take ages to come out so it sounds normal to me but calling maternity triage is best like tara said x

I think my midwife said it grows back...if I remember correctly.
As I started to lose mine at 36 weeks for ages on and off
Mine kept coming out in ‘globs’ lol for around a week, but that was nothing until active labour! Went to the toilet and thought I had given birth to an alien lmao but it was just it coming away fully xxxx
Had mine for 2 days. The second time was a very 'bloody show.
So I thought my plug was coming away continuously but it was actually meconium so I'd definitely make sure it is your plug 🙃
