Orange discharge at 34 weeks pregnant?
I’ve been showing some signs of premature labor lately (not a lot of contractions and no water breaking but a lot of other signs that the doctor is keeping a close eye on). I’ve been losing my mucus plug the last few days and when I used the bathroom tonight it was light orange on the toilet paper. Should I be concerned or is this normal? I’m 34 weeks pregnant as of yesterday and this will be my first so I don’t really know what to expect.

I was in hospital from 34 weeks as my waters went early. I had no idea they had gone btw so maybe yours have gone since last being at the hospital?. I would notify your midwife of colour change as that’s all they kept asking me when I was in, has my colour changed / discharge xxx good luck lovely x keep us updated x x
Orange COULD indicate a possible infection.
However... a reddish mucus plug is normal. And a yellow mucus plug is normal. Even a green mucus plug is normal!
Yellow mixed with red creates orange. So it’s also possible your orange discharge is normal.
I lost my mucus plug one month before labor, which is a normal timeline for first time moms.
Just tell your dr about it and don’t stress yourself!
