Fun facts about Kacie

Mama Knows Nutrition was born in 2017 out of a grad school project to write a blog post.

Kacie’s journey through motherhood with her own picky eater inspired her to create this community to help parents feed their babies and toddlers without the side of mom guilt.

Education

Kacie has a Master of Clinical Nutrition degree from UT Southwestern.

Working as a dietitian is a second career for her.

She studied Economics and Business at NYU as an undergrad and subsequently earned a Master of Public Administration (MPA) at Syracuse University.

Work Experience

Kacie worked in government policy for a little while, and as a Certified Personal Trainer at a gym on the side, but knew that she was in the wrong career field for her.

Deciding to become a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist was a big undertaking but she is so grateful she did it.

There is so much information on the internet to sift through, and raising kids is hard enough!

She wanted to be a trusted resource for parents who just want to know how to navigate feeding their kids.

Kacie has consulted one-on-one with hundreds of families, and serves hundreds of thousands through the online resources she’s created.

Careers highlights

The feedback Kacie hears the most from parents who follow her on Instagram or have taken her Picky Wins course is that they appreciate her authenticity.

For Kacie, the everyday wins are the big wins.

She loves hearing how parents are thriving, or heck, just surviving, and how her tips have made mealtimes easier for their families.

She loves hearing about a picky eater who tried a carrot at dinner or asked for avocado on their toast!
