Is now the time to replace my shoes?

During my first pregnancy I went from a 7.5 to 8 shoe size. A lot of my old shoes still fit ok for a while but I got a couple of replacements that were sized 7.5-8. Now all those shoes are getting tight, and my old 7.5 shoes are definitely way too small. My feet aren’t going back at all, right? Should I start slowly...

Anyone else?

I started taking my baby to baby classes at 8 weeks (he’s now 18 weeks), he HATES them. All he does is cry the whole time, yet if I do the exact same exercise at home, he loves it. Tonight we started swimming lessons…. He loves the bath. All he did was cry the whole time. Do anyone else have the same issue or ca...

Sleep

Hi all, my 14 month old little girl has always been a really good sleeper and usually if it’s a bad night, it’s due to teething etc. The last week, she’s been waking up for hours on end and really not settling although sometimes she’s happy any alert, not crying. She’s on one nap a day and has been for a while and...

Scratching and pinching

Is anyone else experiencing this with our littles? My little girl has started to scratch and pinch us very hard and then giggles but it’s often leaving marks and don’t want it to become a thing with other kids etc. We’ve demonstrated ‘kind hands’ for months and months so she’s definitely just testing boundaries b...

Help me win a bet?

Okay this may sound bad to some but my family have placed bets on when we think my boy will walk 😂 we’ve all guessed our dates and the stakes is up to £55 now 🫣 I’ve said May 21st and my brother has said May 12th, next one after that is June 6th. My boy can already walk around holding the sofas, climbs on the…

Wearable sleep monitors

I’m so conflicted whether to get one or just see how it goes when baby is here. I looked at the Owlet sock first but now I’m swaying towards the Snuza Hero. Has anyone used this? Was it worth it or did it cause more anxiety? Any advice appreciated!

Struggling with bedtime,

we’ve cut out 1 nap meaning now 2 naps a day one around 10/11 one around 2pm, waking up for the day at 7 and have always been good going to bed at 7pm, but recently he’s been either not going to sleep after his bedtime bottle or waking up after 30 mins, I’m not sure what’s causing it I really need help cause then he...

1 year review.

When did your baby have their one year developmental review? My daughter was 1, the 25th April. And we’ve not had it yet, I’ve tried numerous times to book it, but i live in a rural area with very little funding and it’s a task to even speak to a HV let alone book something. I’m just worried, it’s being left too l...

3-Month-Old Refusing Bottle – Anyone Else?

Hey everyone, My 3-month-old has been getting fussier lately and is starting to refuse her milk. I’m bottle-feeding, and whenever we try to feed her every 2–3 hours, she just pushes the bottle out with her tongue. These days she only drinks around 40 ml per feed, and her total intake is about 500 ml a day. We’re th...

Baby not getting enough?

Breastfeeding has been so hard for me mentally, I feel like I’m always overthinking and questioning if she’s getting enough. My baby is 4.5 months & was in the 24th percentile at her 4 month check up. My pediatrician wasn’t concerned and suggested just topping her off with an ounce or two of breast milk/ formula aft...

8w suddenly feeding and sleeping less?

Am I going mad or is this normal? He's a bit fussier, not feeding as much, sleeping in shorter bursts, also seems fussy/crying a bit more than usual. Otherwise happy in himself, lots of wet nappies etc so not worried but just hoping this is normal 😭

Little girl is filthy when I pick her up from nursery.

Not sure if I’m being over dramatic about this but when I go to pick my little girl up from nursery she’s absolutely filthy. They don’t wipe her hands and face properly after food. They eat at 3pm and she still has the food around her mouth when I pick her up at 4-5. I get that they play outside and will get somewha...

Nursery chair

Can I have opinions on whether a nursing chair is worth it please? I’m looking at the o baby gliding chair as much more likely to use one that looks like an armchair long term i.e sit on it to read when they are older and repurpose it in another room maybe, rather than a rocking chair or nursing chair just for feed...

Sleep

My 9 month old has ALWAYS been a terrible sleeper. Since day 1. There has been the occasional good nights sleep where she only wakes 1-4 times. But on average, she wakes 6-10 times, sometimes even 12. She sleeps roughly 9-10.5 hours. She is also co-sleeping and is EBF with a little bit of solids. Lately in Califor...
