When is it time to put my little boy in a toddler bed?

My little boy is 9 months old and only uses a dummy to switch from boob to dummy so I can put him down once he’s fed to sleep. NHS recommends to start weaning off a dummy once 6 months old, but my baby only uses it for sleep so I don’t know if I should be weaning him off of yet or not
