Helpful advice please

So my 4 year old started doing this new thing where she pouts if she doesn’t get her way. She’ll run somewhere and cross her arms with a pouting face and when we try and talk to her she ignores us. Any helpful advice on how we should handle this?

Baby not pooping

My 6weeks old hasn't been pooping for days , I use grownsy colic and gas reliver and only that helps. I don't think he's constipated as well but he doesn't poop by himself unless I use the stick. What can I do ? Anyone please? And I've used the stick for like 4 times in 8 days , yesterday I saw a very little blood...

Double buggy

Hello everyone ! I am having baby in December and currently have a nearly 2 year old and was wondering if anyone has had any experience or advice on double buggies that accommodate a newborn and a toddler please ? I’ve seen some online and am not a fan of the ones where one is seated on top of the other as I don’t ...

Is it normal for an almost 2 year old to take awhile to settle and bedtime and also to sometimes have tantrums if someone isn't playing with him?

I figured that was normal for this age but his grandparents think otherwise. 😒. He does play independently many times, and he sleeps great once we get him to sleep. Also he's adjusting to our new baby, but had this behavior to some degree even before.

Worried about speech regression

Hi, I’m wondering if it’s normal for a 2-year-old to regress in skills he had already developed, such as his speech. A few weeks ago, he was progressing really well, speaking in 5–6 word sentences with some help from us. Suddenly, this week, he’s not using such long sentences, and when he’s excited to say something,...

Postpartum recovery??

Now that we’re a good time away from our August 2023 babies, how long did it take for you to feel like you were mostly recovered/back to some version of normal? I mean mostly physical/mentally - knowing our old normal is long gone, and obviously raising a baby is an adjustment. When were you mostly back into life an...

Visit friends place by car at 5w

This may be too stupid but this is my first pregnancy so please bear with me. I am going to my friend’s place which is like 6-7 miles. I feel like meeting friend’s helps to ease out my anxiety. Is it safe to go by car sitting at the back seat??? I am not sure if it’s safe at this time. I haven’t travelled yet afte...

Toddler help?

Genuinely need to know I’m not the only one or some good parenting advice. My 2 year old is super smart very strong willed but her behaviour this week has been extremely overwhelming!! It’s just constant whinging, crying, tantrums, hitting, biting, wetting herself and laughing instead of using the potty, even ran ov...

Tantrumming Toddlers

Someone reassure me they are going through the same? My little one screams until he’s coughing and wrenching when it’s time to lie in bed, if he can’t have a certain food, if it’s time to get dressed, time to get undressed. I just want to try and keep him happy and so many of my mum friends aren’t having the same...

Purées!

I make most of my son’s baby purées, but would love to keep jars or pouches on hand for on the go too! What brands in the US do you like? Looking for cleaner ingredients! 😊

Next to me crib

Anyone got any recommendations or suggestions based on what they’ve gone for? Had a chicco one second hand (from family) for our first but need a new one now (got rid of it when we moved house) and was eyeing up the Maxi Cosi Iora Air - but then read about tilting issues 🤷🏻‍♀️ would love to know what others have…

Nap lengths

My baby is happy going in her cot for naps but they are so unpredictable in length, sometimes they are long other times just 20/30 mins.. doesn't seem to be any pattern! Are your babies the same or more predictable with how long they'll sleep now?

Hungry

How are we combating breastfeeding hunger? I am so hungry ALL the time. I go to sleep and I’m hungry. I wake up and I’m hungry. I finish a meal and I’m hungry. I eat small meals multiple times a day and I’m hungry. I eat 3 big meals a day and I’m hungry. I eat healthy and I’m still hungry. I eat whatever I want an...

Dummies/Pacifers

My first didn’t take one so this is new territory for us. Our 2nd took to one straight away and has been a godsend with the reflux. My first on fell to sleep on the boob. He will gladly/easily fall asleep with the dummy/pack but now we’re coming up to 6 months I’m seeing info that suggests weaning off so that he’ll ...
