Hi all, I'm looking for full time or part time remote work. My most recent work is as a Business Intelligence Analyst with skills in Python, SQL, Tableau, Excell, some Machine Learning and general dashboard building. I've used several different crm/dashboard tools and I am very adaptable to new tools and technology. I've also previously done QA roles for all kinds of tech devices and some IT type work. Outside of tech I worked in childcare for almost 10 years as a Nanny, in daycare, and in a montessori preschool so I have a wide range of skills.

Just some advice ladies

I have my own remote business and I am looking at hiring people.

The problem I find is, everyone wants a remote job but what skills do you have?

How would you add value to my company?

Employers don’t just want someone who wants a remote job, they want more than that.

Any moms have any work at home job or side job that they do. Need to find a way to make extra money why I’m on maternity leave and try and talk my husband into me staying home a little bit longer

Has anyone had a flexible working request accepted? I do hybrid working but have to go to the office 3 days a week. My office is over an hour away from where I live and where my children go to childcare. I put in a flexible working request to do more days working from home so I could drop off and pick up my children (partner works shifts so difficult for him to do it all the time) it got denied. They said that childcare was not an acceptable reason for me to work from home more. Has anyone’s been accepted and what did you say for it to be accepted? Thankyou from a stressed mum struggling to juggle being a working mum.
