Just looking for advice. My boys 8 months old, and Iβve started introducing finger foods. Heβs very interested in them But heβs always choking! He was doing okay with things like toast and melty puffs but suddenly he chokes on everything like toast, soft parts of the cucumber, had a really scary incident where I didnβt think Iβd get it out with some baby biscotti snack! Choked on a singular pea today as well. Has anyone had this experience? How do I go about this? Itβs super scary and making me feel like im the problem. Also I know they say red & coughing let them get it out but it isnβt that kind of choking! He makes no sound, looks like heβs trying to gag and canβt, starts to change colour and very obviously canβt breathe. The last incident he even had tears streaming.
