Activities for kids

Storytime at WORD Bookstore with me, Wendy, a local children's book author on May 30th

Hi, I'm Wendy! I am a local children's book author and recently wrote a new book called...Bo, the Baked Potato. It's for ages 3-5 and already in the last month has become the #1 book for friendship on Ingram, the largest book partner to schools, libraries, and independent bookstores.

I am doing an author read-a-loud at my local bookstore in Greenpoint Brooklyn called WORD Bookstore May 30th at 11:15AM for local Williamsburg and Greenpoint parents and their kids!

May 30th also happens to be International Potato Day!

Hi! Are there any Williamsburg/greenpoint mom groups people like? Park slope has so many great ones - my friend met tons of women even giving birth her same month right in her neighborhood. I’ve been looking on facebook?

Need help

So my daughter is 12 years old and she has this friend that she meet in school last year. She is in junior high school and this girl has already put my daughter through a lot. Last year my daughter was with this friends walking home from school and they were followed but a group of boys and one of the took off their bookbag and him my daughter in the face and back and all because her friend did something to them. Then her so called friend was making fun of how she talks my daughter has a speech problem. She also has dyslexia. I was told by her teacher yesterday that she is worried about who my daughter socialize with. I don’t know what to do I have had talk after talk with her my daughter and she still don’t listen to me I’ve had family and my neighbors talk to her and nothing so now I’m asking on here what do I do?
