Don’t fall for a fake apology…

And remember if he keeps apologizing and there’s no change and it keeps happening, that’s not an apology, that’s manipulation.

Am I overreacting for being upset about this?

I work for the school board and I have my summers off. Being off for the summer means I am doing everything with my kids 24/7 as my partner works. He took vacation from work this week and I was super excited to maybe be able to have a break from the kids for a bit or even just do stuff together with them. Yesterday was day 1 of his vacation. He spent the whole day with his friend doing a 160km bike ride. Didn’t brother me as I felt he deserved it. We are suppose to go to an amusement park on Wednesday. However I wanted to change that plan for today, as it’s suppose to rain Wednesday. He told me he would be too sore for that. He wakes up this morning to tell me he is going back to this same friend’s house today to help with Renos. This pissed me off because

  1. Even when I’m on vacation I don’t get to wake up and just decide I’m ditching the kids to go hangout with my friends.
  2. He was just with him all day yesterday
  3. It would be nice to actually have family time together.
  4. Your too sore for the amusement park yet can go work on Reno’s

He thinks I’m overreacting as we have plans tomorrow and it’s “HIS vacation” and he has to work full-time. Am I overreacting on this one?

Am I overreacting

So my son was born 4 weeks early after a pretty nasty wreck that fractured my spine and after giving birth they were concerned that labor would shift my spine but they told me I was fine and it hadn’t but now I’m having pain that’s put me in the hospital multiple times and they did a scan the last time and are telling me that I now have scoliosis and a chunk of my spine shifted to the left and my doctor doesn’t seem at all concerned about my pain levels and the fact that I lost feeling in my knees completely and I’m having to go to physical therapy just to be able to walk right without a cane again or hold my baby without my hands giving out or my back hurting and I have this one family member that keeps saying I need to do more and no matter what I say she just won’t back off and if I say anything other family members get mad at me but all she ever says is that my husband should be able to relax when he gets home and half the time he’s home for an hour or two before me and the baby get home from physical therapy or shopping and I get that he’s tired but he gets the baby for maybe three hours when he gets home so I can cook dinner do laundry or take a shower and I go right back to doing it solo so he can sleep and I get told off for saying that they need to mind their business or if I try and defend myself or speak up they act like I’m a horrible person for it.

Do you feel comfortable posting photos of your children on here?

I understand it's an all woman site, and maybe I'm paranoid...I keep wanting to post lots of pics of me and my baby but it gives me the ick 😭
