Pumping

Low supply

Help please 🙏 My milk supply has decreased since my little boy was sick on hospital and being NG fed for a week. I guess it also affected me mentally and physically I wasn't eating or drinking much. It took time afterwards for him to feed normal as he was still tired! So now I'm trying to get my supply back any tips are welcome. X

Breastfeeding

My mental health with breastfeeding

I’m having a really rough time because of my mother in law and my mother. I really am trying breastfeeding the best I can but this girl can eat and she will be a week old tomorrow. I pump every two hours and I breast feed as much as I can but at nighttime I sometimes had it with breastfeeding cause I’m so dead tired I would rather give her breast milk in a bottle. And sometimes I pump all day and there still isn’t enough left so I substitute formula for my mental health sake. My mom just thinks that’s not right using formula but I’m literally going insane.

Baby is drinking more than I produce

My baby is about 14 weeks old and is breastfed although I exclusively pump and feed him from bottle instead of directly from the breast. My milk supply has regulated, so whereas I was making anywhere from 29-35 oz a day, I see that I’m now pretty consistently making 23-24 oz a day. The issue is my baby drinks around 27 oz a day, and I’m assuming he’s just going to be drinking more as he grows. I read online that this is a normal amount to produce, but eventually there’s going to be more demand than supply. Any advice on how to fix this?
