November 2020 Babies 🇨🇦

Phew. Anyone else feeling defeated by their 3 year old?! I spent way too much of the day disciplining him and it feels like this should not be this way? He doesn’t seem to care about any discipline we have tried. We try to use natural and logical consequences when possible, but we do a lot of “time in” and we’ve done time-outs as a last resort which also haven’t worked. We are good about following up quickly on consequences and he continues to repeat the same behaviors with no hesitation. It’s exhausting work and also seems to have no results. We are at a loss as to what to do. I’m feeling so defeated and like I’m messing up big time. Any ideas?!

Anyone else’s toddler having separation anxiety?? Suddenly my boy is super duper attached to me. Screams when I leave for work, only I can change his diapers if I’m home (is fine with dad when I’m not there), only I can put him to bed (most nights it takes hours!!), etc… It’s breaking my heart. Any tips?!
When I’m nursing my daughter it’s especially hard because I can’t do what he wants and then he throws a fit.

Also, his bedtime is a disaster all of a sudden. I used to just put him in his bed and kiss him and leave and now he won’t let me. Idk if he is afraid or just wants me there, but it’s killing me because sometimes it takes 2 hours to fall asleep. Idk if we are doing it too late or too early or what. He also refuses to nap most days now 😫😫.

Still haven’t gotten my period back. Not complaining I just think it’s weird? Lol!

Do you think fathers should have say when breastfeeding should stop or reduce number of feeds for toddlers?
