IVF - 3 follicles, do we proceed?

I'm in my second cycle of IVF and have very low amh. Last time we had 6 follicles and got one blastocyst that failed to implant. This time I only have 3 follicles growing and have the difficult decision of whether to go to egg collection or cancel the cycle 😔😥 how do you make this decision?

IVF cost

Hello

I was just wondering if anyone has any idea of how much 450iu of meriofert for a short IVf protocol will cost? The clinic were unable to give me a price.

Thank you

AMH 8.3pmol

I’m 35 and my test just came back as 8.3pmol. It says it’s on the normal range but right at the bottom. Should I be concerned? 😮 we wanted to put of ttc for a couple of years but is that a bad idea?

Failed cycle

Hi everyone,

I am 38 years old, low AMH 0.2 and went through private IVF in Lister Hospital. Unfortunately, for both my cycles after strong dosage of meds and testosterone gel priming nothing worked. Everytime I go for a scan, there are no follicles and it seems I am not responding to medications at all. I have done acupuncture, taking all supplements such as COQ10, Vitamin D , Vitamin E, Omega, Zita West.

I have asked the doctor to try for IUI but refused as my follicles don’t get stimulated. The doctor said to try naturally and hope for a miracle.

I am really devastated emotionally and don’t know how to progress from here . Looking for hope, positive stories!

DHEA Help

I’ve been taking the Biovea DHEA for 7 months (25mg 3 x a day) I ran out last month BUT we are now in the middle of 3 rounds of Batching / egg collections. My New Dr in Prague (I’m in the UK) said don’t bother, it’s only a supplement 🙄 Do I continue DHEA or have a break? After reading ‘It starts with the egg’ book a few years ago I’m not sure it mentions a break but I’m pretty sure other studies & articles I’ve ready say only take for 6 months. To note I have Mild/moderate diffused Adenomyosis (but my recent scan she said you wouldn’t know I had it if I didn’t mention it!) & I have read that DHEA can have a negative impact on the condition BUT I’m not doing any transfers until Spring 2025 so I will have 2-3 month to prepare my uterus for transfer regardless. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks very much.
