I have a name chosen if baby is a girl but no idea if it’s a boy! Big sister is called Isolde, any suggestions? It would need to be a similar vibe - traditional but unusual (the name Isolde has Celtic roots and is from the Arthurian legend Tristan and Isolde).

Expecting a baby boy, middle names will be John David as honouring family members (can be David John also). Surname begins with an S. We like two/three syllable names that have a one syllable nickname, but wouldn’t say no to a one syllable name! Would like something a bit different but not too wild 🙏 thank you!

Thoughts on Kavan or Reid for a boy? Is there a nickname for Reid?

There are only 2 girls names I like - they are Khalila and Khalula (my preferences are for a super uncommon name with a good meaning, doesn't start with a vowel, kind of long and feminine, lends itself to a cute nickname).
Khalila is a much more established name with a sound meaning however the nickname Leela wouldn't work because it's my niece's nickname and also the name Khalila is only one letter different to my fav boys name, if I was ever to have a boy.
Khalula (pronounced like the English Tallulah but with a K sound) is so unusual that no one seems to have heard of it and I worry it might be a bit too random. Super cute nicknames Lulu / Lula.
If it wasn't for the boys name issue I'd probably go with Khalila. My question is, do you like Khalula? Do you think it'd grow on you the more you heard it? Or is it too weird?
Any thoughts welcome!
Thank you ❤️
