Is the Catchy actually worth it for less cleanup?

My 7-month-old eats two meals a day with us and as expected she loves dropping everything on the floor 😅 I’m constantly cleaning the floor and high chair after every meal.

I’m considering getting a Catchy but before I’m wondering: does it actually make post-meal cleanup noticeably easier? Is it worth it or do you still end up cleaning just as much?

Baby & toddler food

baby still wont "eat" 9m soon

so baby still wakes up at night to eat between 3 to 5 hours. I have started baby on solids, have gone through many veggies and fruits some allergens. But.. baby will taste it and then just play with the food for the rest of the time. baby will put everything in their mouth except food. Baby doesnt have teeth yet but is definitely teething. Recommendations? Baby will keep their mouth closed if i try to spoon feed, if i try to force it baby will shake their head and get very angry.

9 months, no teeth, scared of choking - what even are food options…?

Hi everyone. My daughter’s going on 9 months & doesn’t have any teeth yet. We’ve given her oatmeal & applesauce so far. I gave her a french fry the other day, but took it away once she sucked out the potato inside cause I was scared she’d choke on the outer part, since she has no teeth to even try to chew it. Do you all have any suggestions on foods/recipes to give her? I also am sooo turned off at the idea of pureeing any meats. Like I don’t want to give my daughter puréed chicken, cause that just sounds gross. I’d like her to eat chicken when she can chew it (even little pieces), but a chicken purée sounds icky to me… idk. Any advice is greatly appreciated 🫶🏽

6month puffs

Hello! Need some advice my 5 1/2 month old is showing clear signs she wants more solid food or what I am eating. Can I give her puffs? She’s sitting up in a high chair good.

Overwhelmed with info

Hi! Please help! Where do i start?! Ive read the solid starts book and done a ton of research, but still somehow fo know what the heck I'm doing?! Like everyone is saying to feed what we're eating just "modified". But i feel like modifications vary depending on food. Some things are obvious like certain fruits or veggies but what about chicken (we eat that a lot)? How do i modify chicken for my 6 mo? Or should I strictly be prepping her own things to ensure she is trying all the things before she's one? Like a different fruit, veggie, or protein each day? So much info out there. Id love to just hear others' experiences! TIA
