Hey DEN moms! Our family is moving to Denver from COS for my husband’s job. I need your help! 🤪

We are a family of 6, and we would love to get started on our search for where to live! My husband will primarily be in DTC and also utilizes DIA a ton - being within 45 mins of DIA would be most ideal + close-ish to DTC is great!

I LOVE older homes with character, bigger yards, close to great coffee shops + restaurants. Think less chains and more local options for food and drinks. Shopping, parks, open spaces, and trails would also be a huge perk! If possible, would love a small town feel with city access.

What areas/suburbs do you definitely recommend? What do you love about the area you live? Where would you live around Denver if you could choose anywhere/why?

I have been recommended wheat ridge, love the homes in Littleton, and looking for input!

Im in lakewood colorado and I need to get out the house being a single mom (pregnant) has took an impact on me i just need to relax and maybe get food with someone if anyone is interested ❣️

We have an 8 month old, I’m sure she’d do totally fine with a babysitter for a couple hours so we could have a date night or go to a no-kids social event. However, our dog?! Not so much 🤣😭. We have a very reactive small dog. I always tell people there’s no reason to be afraid of her, but I totally understand and respect that many people might be afraid of her due to her behavior. She has extreme anxiety and is very loud. Does anyone have tips for dealing with this when needing a babysitter? Unfortunately we don’t have any family in the area, our dog is totally cool with our families since she knows them and they know how to deal with her.

I’m well aware my husband and I may never leave the house together without the baby for as long as our cranky dog lives, but hoping there’s at least some people in here to commiserate with 🤣.

**bonus points if you happen to know of a rockstar babysitter in south denver area who has an appreciation for strange neurotic dogs?? help lol

Hi moms of Denver! This might be a far fetched question. Does anyone know of free/cheap place to workout with kids. The problem I am running into… I Work 8-1 M-F. After work I don’t have any help with my two kids age 2&1. I was initially looking at FIT4MOMS. But for $90 a month that is out of my budget. I am hopefully looking for something $40. Just looking for a place to take classes& workout. Bonus for night hours. And free.
