Waking for milk

Looking for advice please, my little boy is almost 21 months and the past few nights he has woken once in the night screaming. Initially we thought he wasn't well but is fine rest of the time. He is pointing to his stomach and asking for milk, he will drink around 8oz and then go back to sleep.

He hasn't had night feeds for almost a year, he has his a good breakfast and dinner. Lunch is hit and miss as he prefers to snack and still has 10oz milk before bed.

Is this normal? He isn't waking at the same time, last night was 11pm and the night before was 3am

Chicken pox?

My little girl I think has either hand, foot and mouth or chicken pox. She's got spots, off her food, very clingy and grumpy and spots worse through day. Waiting for a call from out of hours but any advice please...she woke at 3am this morning, yes 3am! , has only napped for 1hour before she woke screaming and is still at almost midnight not settled for sleep. I am absolutely exhausted but she just can't settle whether it's in her cot, our arms, on the floor with blankets and mattress. Any tips greatly appreciated!!!

17 month old spins everything

Hi, I’m worried about my little boy who’s 17 months old. He’s spins everything and anything. In all fairness this is less than he was doing, and some days doesn’t do it at all or very little whereas other days he does it a lot. Everything points towards autism, when you look into this. There are no other ‘red flags’ so to speak. The only thing he sort of lacks in is speech, he doesn’t say too much at all but when I spoke to the HV she said although it’s not a lot and lower end of acceptable parameters, he’s not below the threshold as he babbles, copies some familiar words at times and has about 5 words, although doesn’t say them every day. Just said to monitor it for the time being. We also completed the ASQ questionnaire which was all fine. I did speak to her about the spinning, and she told me about the rotation schema. Which I’ve looked into and it does make sense but I just can’t help but worry because if he wants to spin something, he finds anything he can get his hands on. He doesn’t actually spin himself though, just objects/toys. When I’ve searched on here, there are multiple threads about this, especially boys! Is there anyone else’s with the same worries? Any reassurance, or does anyone think that I need to speak to the HV again?

18 month sleep regression 😭? Is it a thing!

My little girl is 17 and a half months and over a week ago, we did 6 nights in a row completely sleeping through! Sunday night she had a bad night due to a high fever, which turned out to be an ear infection along with a cough and a cold! However, since Sunday, we must have had max 2 hours sleep a night! I blamed it on her being ill at the beginning of the week, but last night, she did 8-10.30 then was awake until 3am, up again at 5 and back down until 8! She just wants to be awake and play, even though I can see she's so tired! She went off her food earlier in the week too and still isn't fussed, bit drinking milk and water fine! I'm at my wits end, I don't think I can do any more nights not sleeping! 😭

Lunch time

My little one has recently transitioned to 1 nap and I’m struggling to fit lunch in! He sleeps roughly 12-2pm. I’ve tried feeding him just before his nap but he’s too tired, and he won’t eat straight after, he needs about an hour to wake up and get an appetite so he ends up eating around 3pm. This has a knock on effect to tea time then. I’ve been giving him more of a light lunch /large snack to tied him over to tea time but I feel bad that he’s not having a proper meal. Any suggestions? Anyone in a similar position?
