17 month old spins everything

Hi, I’m worried about my little boy who’s 17 months old. He’s spins everything and anything. In all fairness this is less than he was doing, and some days doesn’t do it at all or very little whereas other days he does it a lot. Everything points towards autism, when you look into this. There are no other ‘red flags’ so to speak. The only thing he sort of lacks in is speech, he doesn’t say too much at all but when I spoke to the HV she said although it’s not a lot and lower end of acceptable parameters, he’s not below the threshold as he babbles, copies some familiar words at times and has about 5 words, although doesn’t say them every day. Just said to monitor it for the time being. We also completed the ASQ questionnaire which was all fine. I did speak to her about the spinning, and she told me about the rotation schema. Which I’ve looked into and it does make sense but I just can’t help but worry because if he wants to spin something, he finds anything he can get his hands on. He doesn’t actually spin himself though, just objects/toys.
When I’ve searched on here, there are multiple threads about this, especially boys!
Is there anyone else’s with the same worries? Any reassurance, or does anyone think that I need to speak to the HV again?

How is his eye contact, social interaction, initiation? Does he flap arms/hands? Also, not sure where you live but I'm assuming you should be able to self refer for a speech assessment. I do speech therapy and referred my 15mo at the time. He has lots of words fiiinally now at 18mo, but lots to work on with clarity etc and still communicates with non words too.

My boy is 18m he likes to line up toys before he used to build things but now he stopped building and whatever i try to build he takes them into pieces and line them up same with everything else. Plus he flapping his hands doing circles around and doing some weird movements with his fingers also he have food issues he looks at foods and if he doesn’t like the look or the texture of the food he doesn’t eat it he cries and runs away. He doesn’t like loud voices and blue and red flashing lights either. So for me it’s shows autism but his speech is good he repeat words he tries to babble around so it’s confusing because he does almost all things which an autistic child would do but on other hand his speaking is fine and he likes kids company and very social child. It’s hard to tell at this age but the best thing to do it’s to keep an eye on it and if it’s gets worse or you notice anything new or different make note of it and mention to your hv.That’s what I’m gonna do on his upcoming check

Doesn't hurt get on list for assessment if you have any concerns or see flags. Often wait times are long. And early intervention is best!

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

New born

Finally had my baby girl via C-section on the 18th, everything has been so far. But I’ve noticed she’s very fussy and cries a lot. I’ve been trying to exclusively breastfeed. The lactation consultant at the hospital said I did look like I’m making enough milk for her. She was latching on good at the hospital and now here at home, she doesn’t seem to want to latch at all. She’s been crying a lot and very fussy. I’m just wondering is she’s colic or like maybe she just doesn’t want the breast anymore?

6 month old autistism

My 6 month old makes no eye contact with me and doesn’t respond when I call him. Can this just be a phase or personality trait as apposed to autism

5.30am wakeups 😫😴

My 15 week old has started waking up about 5.30am and is really hard to settle back down - it’s like he thinks it’s time to wake up for the day. He used to go to bed at 9pm and was up at 8am but now he goes to bed between 7.30-8pm as he’s knackered by then but waking up at 5.30am😴. Any advice to get him to sleep a little longer in the morning?! Even an extra hour would be lovely 🤣
