5.30am wakeups 😫😴

Mines the same, but generally will get to 6am. I'm just hoping the clock change sorts it out 😂

I have similar, when the clocks change I'm going to take advantage!! If I have it the right way round they should sleep for an extra hour with bedtime delayed an hour!

This is a developmental wake up because of new skills, etc. Don't treat it as the morning. Keep things dark/dim and quiet (even if he isn't!). You can try feeding and helping him back to sleep or letting him be quietly awake. If he is happy being quietly awake you can try leaving him to do that on his own (without you in the room if he's in a separate room). If you wait long enough in that state he might put himself back to sleep but it could take him an hour. If he fusses or cries obviously respond and soothe him! But loud or happy play noises like he might make when awake in the daytime are normal for this type of wake up. If you don't treat it like the start of the day, then eventually (could be days, could be a few weeks) he'll go back to sleeping to your preferred wake up time.
