Baby milestones

Talking at 19m

My daughter is the only child and is mostly home with me, she’s currently in speech therapy and I have seen very little improvement with her speech, she likes to do animal sounds but not very good and she says no (not very good) and mama and dada, just wondering if I should be concerned. She also likes to walk on her tippy toes, just don’t know if this could be a sign of autism.

halloween costumes

are you letting your feb 2025 baby pick their own halloween costume? or is this the last year you’re going to pick? also! thoughts on actually letting your toddler eat candy? idk how i feel about it at this age but i still think the act of trick or treating is too fun to miss out on

1 1/2 year old son with bowed legs

As the title implies this post is about my son and his legs they are quite bowed, I have been to specialist ped (ortho) I believe it is several times regarding the matter, she has observed him and addresses the issue as “quite normal” for his age and that we need to wait until he is atleast to 2 to begin to address the issue, regardless of the fact that family and I have pushed back on this decision and insisted that it be treated sooner. My question is what have you all done/advice to help baby with this issue independently/ before the doctor decides to actually do anything? Currently looking into different type of corrective boots/ massages etc.

Talking

I have an almost 19m old and he barely talks. He can say certain animal sounds (and not properly) but he doesn’t really say any words. If we do flash cards with him he points to what the picture is showing but won’t say it. Should I be concerned or does anyone else’s child do this?

Trying for a baby

Going from one to two

Currently just have my 18 month old. My husband and I have been talking about having a second. He is fully ready to jump in but I am so nervous I won’t be able to love my second as much as I love my first. Or like how I would be able to give enough attention to both. Question how did you know you were ready for your second and did you have any of the same fears?
