Finding space advice

Hi, I'm needing a little advice my partner is looking at moving into my house that I own. I have 2 girls (3,8months) 1 is his and 1 from a previous relationship my thing is he has a son that's 8 that he only gets once or twice a month if he's lucky no matter what we have tried but now he's moving in I don't see how it's going to work I don't want either of my girls to have to give up their room for him to only be there once a month if that and I don't want him to not have a space that's his when he is here. The plan is an attic conversion for us in the future but right now isn't in the budget so I'm wondering is anyone else has had a similar situation they can give advice on. I wouldn't mind the girls sharing if he was here every week my partner suggested the couch but I refuse to have a child of ours sleep on a couch instead of a bed in what's supposed to be their home.

Hi everyone

I’m new here. I’ve really been struggling with the blended-family dynamic and was hoping to hear from others who might relate. My partner and I each have a daughter around the same age, and lately it’s started to feel like I’m constantly walking on eggshells. Sometimes it feels like his daughter has negative feelings toward me, and it’s creating a lot of tension in the home. I care about both girls deeply, but I’m at a point where I’m not sure how to keep the peace or where to go from here. Any advice or experiences would mean a lot.

Gaslit. Full stop? Or see if apologizes?

We've had our kids together now full time about a week. Every morning and night I have fed and kids (even when he's here) his son (almost 2) threw up 3 times last night, I cleaned and washed everything. No complaints. When I asked if he could make sure kids were fed more or like be the one to do breakfast his response, "I knew this would happen, I dont complain when I take care of your kids" to which I responded, "If you think that was complaining then ignore what I just said. It's a big adjustment and a lot to take on in the first week, I hoped you would empathize." He's never bought groceries, and even used my toothpaste so he didn't have that when he moved in. I have provided clothes and all diapers. Even had to give him gas money, as he's using my car and has yet to pay for his portion of the car insurance with him added. Never a complaint. They are children, they need care. But my request for more help with feeding them was met with HUGE hostility. Trying to say it was complaining is straight gaslighting. We are BOTH parents who decided to join our families. FEEDING them should not be solely my job EVERY MORNING. Kids ages: 4, 3, 2 months from 2 and 9 months. His kids will scream and he will not get up to feed them. How do I approach this now? My thoughts, I wanted help feeding them so I could get out of mom mode and actually be intimate with him. Now. Okay, I dont play. You gaslit me. Im mom mode, March lease is up we're done. But the kids 100% I'll treat as my own. Im done fucking around even slightly with disrespect like that. Am I being too harsh?

Is it time to throw in the towel?

My partner and I have been together for nearly 9 years have lived together for 7 and in our brought home for 5.5years. He has 3 children from previous relationships (24 male, 14 male, 10 female) the younger 2 spent half the week with us each week and the moment they arrive he changes (but doesn’t see it) our 2 year old son and myself are totally sideline, I feel like I’m just there to was and clean after them. And my little one is constantly moaned at and told off. The behaviour from the 14 YO is aggressive and rude all the time (he dictates the roost at his mums) it feels like it’s getting worse all over OH is almost never home with me and the youngest in favour of the other two, Christmas Day he goes to his ex wife’s to see them for the morning birthdays etc. I fund everything for the 2 YO, clothes, food, nursery and days out. Does anyone have any advice? I’m feeling so low
