My 5 year old hates taking meds, all of them, just despises, wont swallow any not even calpol. Well she's been given gaviscon peppermint and uts a fight, so please, give me your best ways to make your kids take their meds

Hey everyone! My son was unwell from Thursday until Sunday last week with a high temperature between 39-40. His fever is gone thankfully and he is better and also was on antibiotics but he has now developed this rash! I tried to get an appointment at the gp today and they gave me one for tomorrow! Also rang 111 and waiting for them to call me back. Pharmacist advised to give him some Piriton which I did. He is ok and comfortable just a bit tired which I think is from the Piriton it makes them sleepy. Has anyone’s child ever had this after being unwell???? Please share your advice and experiences!!

My 5 year old has caught a viral bug and is on antibiotics and have given the antibiotics 3x so far. He still has a fever 39.2 on day 3 of being unwell. Is this normal? I have taken him doctors obviously and she did her checks and said it something viral. But I just want his temperature to go away I keep treating him with nurofen and calpol alongside the antibiotics. Do you give it all the time or when all child is distressed?
