How to empty your breast??

My son recently started taking the bottle after being exclusively nursed for 3 months! Yay, big win for us! I’m continuing to nurse, as it’s so convenient and honestly, I love it. But we give him a bottle of pumped milk once a day. He drinks 4oz from the bottle, so I assume that’s what he gets from nursing. When he takes the bottle, I pump, but I can only get out 1oz to 1.5oz. How do I empty my breasts? I’m at a loss.

Temporary Pumping

My LO has a slight tongue tie which has led to him having a very shallow latch. I've had alot of support and got a referral to the infant feeding team at my hospital to see about getting his TT snipped but she told me she doesn't think it's affecting feeding and won't do it. Fast forward a week and my nipples are cracked, bleeding, and the pain is excruciating. Can i pump and bottle feed for a couple days to let myself recover? If there are any negatives can you please let me know before i go ahead.

Lactation woes

I had my baby from c section after failed induction. She seemed very satisfied with my supply the first few days and then would it take my breast anymore quite suddenly.

I spoke with the lactation consultant at the hospital and she brought me the hospital pump to see where I was at. Sadly nothing came out. She told me to keep up with my pumping and it would come in, and it has slightly. My baby is a week + 3 old and I can get about an ounce from both total breasts right now at a min and 2 oz total on a good pump. I’m happy with this as I knew I could still keep pumping to up my supply but I have been giving the baby the milk in between supplementing with formula until we get to an amount that’s satisfies her.

Sadly it seems she’s completely content with formula no big issues, and constantly spits up my breast milk. Has anyone else run into something like this? I’m currently working on cutting out dairy but I just saw her formula is milked based so I’m at a loss.

Thanks!

Back to Breast

I'm trying to get my girl back to the breast after having to exclusively pump because of some of her health issues. My supply has dropped from pumping, so it needs to increase so I don’t have to supplement. Any and all advice is welcomed!
