Signs of labor
I know it's impossible to tell when I'll go into labour. But here's the story: this is my second pregnancy. The first time around I was induced at 40+5 due to reduced fetal movements. Baby hadn't dropped or engaged or anything he was still sitting up really high. This time baby has been engaged since 36 weeks and fixed since just before 38 weeks when I had an episode of period pains, lower back pain, nausea and diarrhoea on Tuesday. Cramps increasing in intensity until they subsided after 6 hours. I told my doctor the next day at a routine visit and she wasn't concerned but said it might all be happening soon and that baby is now fixed in my pelvis. Since then I had occasional cramping. Lots of cervical and back pain and feeling a huge heaviness in my bottom and vag area at different times. People seem to be either telling me "you'll go really soon, he's ready, look at those symptoms" or "unless this or that happens you're still weeks away". I'm getting quite emotional about it all as I'm also getting quite exhausted from the physical symptoms and lack or opportunity to rest - which I know I the most important thing at the moment. I guess my question is: what's you're experience? How did you feel the last few days before you went into labour naturally?

First trimester worries
I am at the very start of my pregnancy & have no idea how midwife’s work. Do I go find one myself or will I be told at one of my appointments that I need to go to a certain place to meet the midwife the doctor has given me. I have no idea & probably sound so stupid. Help?

Hii, Anyone have some tips when baby is experiencing gassy, wind..
Last night he was in so much pain! And felt helpless.. He kept pulling away and did a little vomit.. but mostly I think it was trapped gas..
Any recommendations on what I can do for him or give him.. his only 2 weeks old. Thank youuuu!

Feminine health
I want to know if I was in the wrong for calling my midwife staff out for not reading my chart before prescribing me a prescription that could harm me and baby.
Little back story: I got a call from my midwife staff (my actual midwife is out for the week) in regards to a minor uti and said they were going to send a prescription to my pharmacy. Well an hour later I get a call from the pharmacy about this medication. It is in the penicillin family and I’m allergic to penicillin. I called the staff back to ask if they could send a prescription without this in it and I got rung out with being told I will take whatever prescription she sends to get the uti cleared up and that after that call she will no longer take any call from me here on out.
Please help. What do I do.
