NICU/Preemie Mamas

I’m a first time mom and feel like I might be overthinking. My baby was a premie, but when people guess her age, they often say younger than she actually is, and it makes me worry about her development.

She’s 5 months and only drinks about 4 oz, and I keep wondering if that’s enough. My pediatrician hasn’t been very comforting, so I’ve been feeling unsure. How are you taking all of this

I’m just curious when you have started different activities with your babies. Are you doing things based on actual age or corrected age?

Hi Mamas! So happy this group exits. You all are so strong! Just wanted to know if you had a baby under 30 weeks GA, what was the cost of having your baby in the NICU if you had insurance? Just trying to prepare myself 😅 (if it’s a lot please answer sensitively 😅)

When I show someone new my babygirl “oh she’s so small🥹❤️” no, she’s so BIG. Flashback to my 2lb 7oz baby at 28 weeks versus my now 9lb 4 month old 🥹 how much she worked and fought and continues to fight.
