November 2024 Babies 🇨🇦

Had to take my son to a kids urgent Care today. He's fine- just a real nasty cough! But the pediatrician there recommended that I start weaning him off of a pacifier now that he's almost 1. My first son didn't wean until he was almost 18 months. But I thought I'd pass along this cool tip she gave me. If you don't want to go cold turkey here's what she recommended:

• week 1: pacifier does not leave the house
• week 2: pacifier does not leave the bed (so only use it for sleep)
• week 3: cut the tip so baby can't suck on it

Also why does no one talk about this one?? 😭

Anyone else dealing with this, baby rolls from back to belly but doesn't know how to roll from belly to back so wakes up screaming multiple times a night when this happens. Feels like newborn sleep exhaustion again 😴

Has anyone else LOs started teething? I'm a FTM so this is all new to me, if anyone has any tips or advice, I'm all ears!
