Anyone else dealing with this, baby rolls from back to belly but doesn't know how to roll from belly to back so wakes up screaming multiple times a night when this happens. Feels like newborn sleep exhaustion again 😴

Try facing the baby north headfirst

You might have to move the bassinet but it Will definitely help

Just went through this! I didn't intervene for a while, to see if he would settle on his belly without me going in there- and he did. He would cry for a bit, then fall back asleep, then wake up a few hours later, repeat. But I never had to go in there, and by day 3 he stopped being upset and liked it. Within a few weeks, he now rolls both ways. With my first, if he wouldn't settle on his belly, I would go in, flip him, leave. But if your baby did that over and over again, I actually wouldn't flip again- just comfort them from the crib on their tummy, but not pick them up.

Yesssss. Nothing I've tried works. She also gets her arms and legs stuck in the crib slats.

turn them the other way round in the cot? I think my girl will still continue 😩

I try not to intervene but she is face first in the mattress and doesn’t settle, but the second I slip her she instantly goes back😭

@Madison this helped me so much!

@Gemma i tried what Madison suggested and after about 3 days it's not an issue for us anymore. I was worried about the facedown thing too so if my babe is completely facedown I just turn her face to the side a bit to make sure she can get better airflow.

I’ve tried that, she just moans in her sleep uncomfortable and wakes up multiple times 😔
