Bump/Buggie walk

So there are a few mums/mums to be on the East Dunbartonshire Mums group who are keen for a bump/buggie walk. But I thought I'd post it here and in few other groups in case anyone else wants to join us.

I've made a survey to gauge availability (but if anyone prefers to message me, or comment here that's also cool)

I'm currently thinking Kirky might be most convenient but open to suggestions :)

Update:

Thanks so much to everyone who filled out the survey/replied to posts/messaged directly etc

It looks like the 14th of August suits most folk :)

Time I was thinking 2pm (so after lunch)

Location: I was thinking Kirkintilloch would be fairly central with parking options etc.

Route: I was thinking walk from the Marina to the Stables and back (that should be a little under an hour and has a potential break at the Stables if anyone is tired/wants a cold drink/coffee etc)

However open to any and all suggestions :)

Xx

Healing help

So my baby daddy and I split about 4 months ago. We kept fighting and he kicked me and our 2 kids out. I had to move away with family. We said some terrible things to each other and he even got into a situationship while I was gone. We eventually mended things and got back together but I still keep replaying those mean words and that B living here temporarily. I thought about all this before we got back together but I forgave him. Now Its stuck in my head. I need advice on how to handle it.

I think

I think the world would be a better place if it was run by women! I'm honestly sick and tired of these men.

I would love to see this in my lifetime but sadly don't think I will

Friends across the globe 🫶🏼

Looking for mums to be good friends with! I’m happy to be friends with people who are across the globe! I believe friendships online can be just a genuine as irl.

I’m dog crazy, usually a gamer, a bookworm and getting back into my fitness. I have 2 dogs, a cat, a step son and a 9 week old little dude.

I love long forest dog walks, paddle boarding, quality time with my family and coffee.

Oh I also swear like a sailor so please don’t take offence to it🫣😆

Good morning, everyone! 👋

Hope you're all having a lovely start to your day. Just wanted to pop in and say that sometimes, making new friends as a mom can feel a bit like trying to find a matching sock in a pile of laundry – tricky but totally worth it when you find the right one! If you're feeling a bit isolated or just looking to connect with some amazing moms, don't be shy! Reach out, comment on a post, or suggest a virtual coffee date. We're all in this together, and a strong mom tribe makes everything a little bit easier (and a lot more fun!). Let's make some connections today! 😊

Update, 3 years later

So this post went off the rails a bit in the comments, but I have an update on the original situation (TL;DR: new neighbours with kid the same age didn’t seem interested in a friendship. I was disappointed).

We are now friends! The kids naturally connected by running into each other outside and now we hang out regularly. The husband is still awkward and a bit standoffish, but the wife and I are developing a genuine friendship.
