Hi mamas,
My baby is 4 months and 19 days old. Breastfeed only. He used to poop once a day and sometimes once every two days. There was one time that he pooped on the fourth day. After that he has been pooping more than two times a day (2-5 times a day). The poop color is sometimes yellow, light yellow, olive oil kind of green, darker kind of green. I think there’s mucus in poop too. I was thinking that baby’s having diarrhea. We went to the doctors for the four month well check up on July 29th and I told them about this. Doctor said that baby looks well, no vomit, no fever and he suggested not to worry too much. Today I noticed some light blood in mucus and the poop color is yellow. Several hours later he pooped again. The color is green. There’s still mucus, but I didnt notice blood. Advice please?

This happened to my baby as well. Doctors said it was fine then there was blood and mucus. Turned out she had a lactose intolerance.

Muscous, blood, green poop...all indicative of a food allergy.
