Bottle refusal

EBF and deciding I want a bit more flexibility so wanted to introduce a bottle so I can go out more.

She used to take one three months ago. Now she flat out refuses and cries - doesn’t matter if it’s expressed breastmilk or formula. Tried it in a sippy cup as well. What can I do?

We're having the exact same issue! We're socialising her with the bottle during the day when she's not hungry so she gets used to it, but she still doesn't like it much

Very much in the same boat! Have tried all the different bottles, my milk and formula, she just totally refuses and gets upset.
I’ve been giving her the bottle to play with during the day this week. I’m hoping when we start weaning her at 6months she’ll be more open to a bottle??

I'll be honest this was also my experience. He took a bottle once at a few weeks old and never did again. I EBF till he weaned at 17months. Others have suggested warming the bottles teeth or putting aloe Vera on nipple but none of those worked for us.

i tried this to no avail. my son combo fed for the first 4 months but i trailed off to ebf. by time he turned 6 months i couldn’t get him to take a bottle anymore - i tried diff bottles, temp etc and nothing worked. he doesn’t even drink milk out a sippy cup, he just spits it out 🤣

What the fuck is that.
Looks like no seat belt, just some bar thing, and a kid that’s small enough to be rear facing in a forward only car seat?? Someone tell me there’s more to this and it’s not as crazy as it looks

Plane seat purchase

Why are we having to pay extra for seats?! I really can't afford to add any more on to the expense. So I'm going to check in, and hope we are next to each other. We are a family of 5, 2 adults and 3 children.
How likely is it that we will be split - and staff care enough to give seats together? Please let me know if this has happened to anyone. I really can't be adding £300 more just for tickets.

Are your little ones walking?

Just wondering if most September babies are walking. We’re on holiday and so many people have commented on my just turned 1 year old walking, which I didn’t expect, I thought 12 months was average age for walking, his older brother walked at pretty much exactly 12 months too

Breastfeeding or screaming - no in between

When it comes to our late afternoon and evening feeds, we seem to hit the same problem; he just won’t unlatch! Baby boy is 5 weeks and will just chew on my nipple, I assume to soothe, and if I ever try to take him off he screams. He’ll even be falling asleep and still hates it, and then won’t sleep at all!

Any one experienced something similar and know how to work around this? I’m sore and need a small bit of my evenings back!

Help!

My little boy has just turned 2 and for a few weeks now he’s keeps playing / getting his private parts out. We keep telling him no and he seems to think it’s funny.
I wondered if anyone else is experiencing this and how I can get him to stop doing it.

Social anxiety.

Hi guys, I just wanted to ask- does anyone have advice that genuinely works?
Bit of a backstory- I had a meeting with a client, and oh my word, was I jumbling my words and struggling to get my points across because I genuinely struggle with social anxiety. I find it hard to put my points across because it’s like my mind takes over and I freeze. Honestly, I try to put my self in these situations to make me try overcome the hurdle but it just reinforces that I am almost incapable and it breaks my confidence quite a bit rather than help me overcome it. I find that this is something I genuinely need to at least overcome, as I want to be a better mom and I don’t want to feel like my quality of life will always be hindered by this…
They say to go through it and the more exposure the better, but is there anything else that people can recommend?
