Hiš I'm 53 and last year, this Perimenopause junk kicked my butt! Why aren't we told about this until we're in the middle of trying to work it out!!!
I always knew that I wasn't going to go down the HRT road, and wondered what else I was going to do! I found it! Nrf2. This stuff has seriously changed my life. Now I'm kicking It's butt!! What else natural do you guys find helpful to manage your symptoms?

Nutrition and lifestyle are so key. Stress reduction (easier said than done), plant rich diet, exercise (ideally including some strength training) and finding your peri posse can really help. Iāve written an evidence based book that covers all of this plus positive ageing, gut health, hormones in the workplace and sleep. Itās called The Perimenopause Solution and youāll find it on Amazon and the Book Depository š

I agree with Erin. Lots of exercise! I took up running a couple years ago and run about 25-30 miles a week. It was a game changer for me. I honestly donāt think it matters if you run, walk, hike, bike whatever! As long as you move your body everyday. My naturopath also suggested black cohosh root for hot flashes. This has also helped me quite a bit. The one I have is Black Cohosh plus by Metagenics. Also, just a shout out. If you can order supplements straight from the company you have a better chance of getting what you pay for. I have no affiliation with this company btw.
Love this group and excited to be a part of it!

I take Ashwagandha. No hot flashes and I'm post menopausal age 52. I do feel hot every now and then every several days to every few weeks but no sweating and usually while sleeping.

I cannot praise enough exercising! I run only once a week, 5 km (the plan was twice :-)), I do yoga ashtanga style once a week. And I have a dog! He is a natural movement āfacilitator.ā Every day, in any weather and several times a day. I'm 50, still waiting for the menopause symptoms (apart from the eventual hit). Since one year or so, I started to take anti-ageing supplements resveratrol and nMn after reading a book lifespan by David Sinclair. Hopefully, it helps someone. Thanks for sharing your tips!

Aww u ladies r inspiring me to start running again. Has anyone experienced incontinence while exercising.

I did cross fit a few years ago and the jumping caused me a little grief. š¤Ø

Hi, What is Nrf2 an acronym for and where can I find it?

If you're on Facebook, this group is brilliant. Just say Lisa invited you for approval as it's a private group due to the sensitive stories shared.

Love running too, got back into it in last year after quite a break but part of my lifestyle now. Helps so much, try to walk in between runs. Did first 10k last weekend āŗļø Definitely diet as well as drinking plenty of water. When tired fall into that sugar trap but as soon as kick myself out of it, transformation after few days of back on healthy eats is amazing. Love this group, so many ideas āŗļø
