Really struggling mentally now..
My little on is now waiting for another paedeatrition appointment and has lots of things in place at school now but is having huge meltdowns now most days where things are thrown / ripped off the walls ... there's biting and scratching when really overwhelmed and was completely toilet trained but is now having accidents at school and I usually have to be called to come and sort it... its awful...we know its mainly the noise and excitement of the day that triggers it and transitions but I just don't know what else to do because things that were easy enough to do are becoming so difficult...like doing the shop today was a nightmare ... any advice would be great ! Thanks xxx

You have to calm down yourself, I think if you want to help your son, you have to stay calm. I have a son with SPD and I am experiencing the same situation. The OT of my so n recommended us to do a schedule with drawings about the important moments of the day because sometimes they need a routine.

The last weeks have worked and he is toiled trained again.
